Dim Light Turned Bright Teen Acting Workshops:
Our Summer Intensive session in geared toward teens, ages 13-17, who have a serious
interest in exploring acting. This workshop offers an exciting forum for the beginner,
who is trying theater for the first time, as well as, advanced techniques for experienced
young actors. Give your teen a wonderful opportunity to celebrate him/herself, make

Jazz for Lunch:
Join us every Thursday for a jazz jam session from 12-2:30 pm., at the Nyack Center.
Bring your lunch and sample Tommy Goodman at the piano, Charlie Descarfino on
drums, Bill Crowe on bass and Mark Patterson on trombone. Program is FREE.

Nyack Center's CORE PROGRAMS...
Breakfast Club:
School Days, 7-8:30 am. - Registration going on for September!
Provides children--grades K-6--with nurturing, educational and recreational activities, as
well as a nourishing breakfast before school.
After School Program:
School Days, 3:30-5:30 pm. - Registration going on for September!
Provides children K-8 homework help and an afternoon snack. Students participate in
educational, creative and recreational activities.
Back Door (Nyack's Teen Café):
Friday, July 14 and 21, from 7-10:30 pm. ADMISSION IS FREE!
A substance free performance program run by teens, for teens. Weekly planning
meetings held every Tuesday night, at the Nyack Center, at 7:30 pm.
Teen Drop-In Center:
Thursdays, 6:30-9:30 pm. - ALL SUMMER LONG. A free drop-in center for all
community teens, ages 13 and up. Play pool, listen to music, use the computer lab,
play games or just hang out with your friends. Don't miss free pizza or wings on
Thursdays!

Dance Kinetics
Every Tuesday Evening, 7-8:15 pm., each week. Energetic, fun filled class combining
